The plastic tubing which connects into this part (ES1639021) was split and I have replaced it. The part itself is working but there is a leak from the push fit connector. Can you advise how to stop the leak?

You need to make sure there is nothing blocking the connection that would cause a leak, also make sure the tubing is in the connector correctly before suspecting anything else.
