Could a worn brush stop heating element working ?
Heating element & 2 x stats continuity all checked/good but still no heat when machine on & otherwise working. Approx. 50% or more carbon brush wear noted though with 8mm. of brush remaining to spring insert. Could a lack of sufficient contact to the drum strip be causing this "no heat" problem on my White Knight CL847 sensor model...as would appear to be the case upon brush replacement/renewal in one of your reviews published on this item ? Kind regards....Richard.

if the carbon brush is no longer making contact then it would normally cause the drum to stop rotating but can stop the heater if the electronics detect a problem, make sure by testing the heater to check it it working ok.
