can these switches loose only one function? my Neff oven lamp failed, I changed the lamp it exploded ! I replaced the lamp holder & lamp but it still does'nt work, all the switch settings work except the lamp, so I suspect the switch.

If the bulb goes short the power through that element of the switch can damage it so it is likely the switch is damaged if all else works OK.
