my dishwasher gets stuck just after i have switched it on and no heat is generated while it works, I need to click the nob forward once and then again later on in the cycle,aprt form that it works fine, Im presuming its the element, it empties etc.

Hi rebecca, if the water in the dishwasher isn't heating up, it's overwhelmingly likely that the element is damaged.
