Does the Hob control knob include the inner sleeve to fit on to the gas control spindle, because the knob I wish to replace has the original sleeve stuck in it (too far to get it out) and is not available to me to use?

If the sleeve from the original knob has broken off it will be necessary to remove it before fitting a new knob.
