Does this part require programming after it is fitted?
I have been told that Bosch control modules can only be fitted by Bosch engineers equipped with special computer equipment: is this true?

This module is pre programmed but you need to configure it by pressing a couple of buttons to select the correct programme for your machine. This information on how to do this is usually supplied with the module.
