There is no power getting to the fan element but the fan works and so does the other main element. Would that mean the potentiometer is faulty ? Cannon c60dtc. Thanks steve

The potentiometer is used to help control temperature but you would need to test it to determine if it has failed but also check the main control.

Gently tap or adjust the control to see if this shows your problem and replace if required and make sure the timer is correctly set with no automatic cook programmes set. If this does not resolve your problem and it needs a pcb you may not be able to repair yourself. It is likely to be cheaper to have a fixed price repair with Repaircare than replace the pcb and have it programmed.
