Before you know it you’ll be changing your cleaners wheels as fast as the Formula 1 pit team.
This video shows an example on how to remove or replace the part on a typical machine, some models may be different but the procedure should be similar.
What You Will Need:
- Wheel
- Flathead Screwdriver...or a blunt butter knife
- Phillips Screwdriver
Safety First! Please make sure that you’ve switched off your appliance and disconnected it from the mains before beginning any repair.
Step 1 - Removing the Wheel Cap
Remove the wheel cap, this can be removed with a flathead screwdriver or a blunt butter knife...your choice, whichever is closest at hand. With the cap removed you can now unscrew the hub and remove it.
Step 2 - Replacing the Wheel
Now to replace the old wheel, simply place the new wheel, refit the screw and once secure and in place fit the Hub
Step 3 - And Repeat
Repeat steps one and two for the other wheel.
Voila you’ve just learnt and successfully replaced the wheels on your Numatic Henry or Hetty vacuum cleaner, now if only changing a car’s wheel was as simple.
