Replacing a lost or damaged dispenser drawer is a very easy fix. In this video, Rory replaces the dispenser drawer and inserts a new one on a Hotpoint WMA36 washing machine.

Hi, I’m Rory from eSpares.
In this video, I’m going to show you how to replace the dispenser drawer and handle, as well as its inserts, on this Hotpoint washing machine.
Safety First! Please make sure that you've switched off your appliance and disconnected it from the mains before beginning any repair.
Now the first thing you’ll need to do is remove the drawer from the machine and the way you do this will vary depending on your make or model. On this Hotpoint, all I need to do is pull down this latch and remove.
Now we’ve removed the drawer, we can see all the components that make it up, you’ve got the drawer itself and the handle, which are two separate parts, as well as these inserts which just pop out and are available as spares on the eSpares website, as is this latch which also just pops off. Now to remove the drawer from the handle, I’m going to need to get a flathead screwdriver and coax out the handle.
Now we can get rid of this old drawer, get the new one and fit the new drawer to it. It’s now just a case of putting back in the inserts, as well as the latch and now I just need to pop in back into the machine and we’re ready to go.
