Bosch Dishwasher Error Code E01, E02, E03, E04 or E05
You’ve most likely found your way here because you are trying to identify why your dishwasher is no longer operating correctly right? Well, there could be a whole host of reasons as to why you are currently left with a dishwasher that can no longer perform its post-dinner cleaning tasks.
However we have investigated the most common causes which may have resulted in your machine having a problem - and one such fault can be an error code flashing on your dishwasher display panel.
Read on to hopefully find a solution to your dead dishwasher, and get back to keeping your dishes clean with minimal effort.
Power Module
The power module is usually instructed by the control module to drive the drain, wash and heat circuits of the appliance. If a problem occurs then one or more of the circuits may not work correctly. Unless there are actual visual indications of damage - confirming the fault can be rather difficult, because many other components may cause the board to fail.
However, if a replacement board is required you’ll need to remove the old one:
Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.
- To gain access to the power module you will either need to remove the top and side panels or on some models the outer door skin and control panel.
- Remove the screws and slide the top off, then remove the screws from the side panels and lift off (note on some models you may have to remove the front ‘kick plate' to reach these).
- The power module is usually on the right side of the base near the back.
- Check for any signs of visible damage and replace if required.
