where do the front bearing pads fit into?

Answer this Question (1 Answer)

  • Four bearing pads are fitted to this unit, they positioned on the front panel behind the glass door. You will have to first unplug the unit from the mains, then remove the top by undoing the back screws, the next thing is to remove the front panel. This is held by screws on the top of this panel, you will have to remove two screws, remove two screws which hold on plastic front panel (these screws are on the inside, be careful not to loose them). Having done this remove the bottom screws of the door panel and then gently remove the front door panel. The bearings are located on the bottom part where the drum sits, remove the old bearings and fit the new ones. Fit one end of the in the closed hole and slide the bearing side ways so it slides into the open hole and then Bobs your uncle. Reassemble the unit enshuring the vent pipe is correctly located and the belt is in line (using tape helps to locate the belt on the drum) Hope this is of help Moses By moses - Swindon - 01 May 2013
