My JLDW 1221 Dishwasher does not heat the water and there is no heat on the drying cycle.

I took the chance that it may be the heater element ES544551 and therefore replaced this part. Unfortunately this replacement did not work. Is it likely therefore that the problem could be a faulty Temperature Sensor ? Otherwise could you suggest the most likely problem.
