when you remove the old control panel there is a central switch that it connects to does this product come with the connecting wires ?
At the moment the lights won't work I have tried replacing the bulbs & the switch neither did the trick, it either needs a new control panel or new bulb holders but I cannot see how to disconnect the wires connected to the bulb holders ?

It is unlikely that the wiring needs to be replaced, check the wiring with a multimeter to determine if it has failed.
