      Does this hold the ignition button in place ?

      My ignition button has disappeared in behind its housing when i last pressed it and now can't be used.Is the above the correct part to keep it in place ?

        This product is not for the ignition button, check the switch and the button as one of them will be broken and will need to be replaced.
