Replaced heater, not solved problem

I already fitted a new heater but dryer (Whirlpool AWZ8578) still not heating up. Symptoms same as before. When first started, heater comes on for a couple of seconds then turns off - there is a click at the front. Every minute or so there is another click, but the heater never comes back on, unless I stop and restart the dryer (then same thing happens). Any suggestions what to look at next?

The sensing is likely to be done by Stock Number: ES1423492 probably mounted in the front ducting. Check that the drain pump and float are not showing the control that the condensation reservoir (not the container) is full and not emptying.
