how do l descale coffee machine

krups tall upright machine. Do l put in water container at back then proceed as though l was making a coffee please ?

    We would advise when de scaling to use a specific descaling product as Vinegar may cleat the deposit but may 'taint' the coffee. Always refer to your appliances instruction book when possible for details on de scaling.

  • if you are not sure what kind of descaler to use, I suggest you use half white vinegar and half water. Only 2/3 fill the water reservoir as it may bubble over when heated. Just run it through with no coffeee in it - only water and vinegar. Then rinse with cold water. Then run with clean cold water twice more without coffee before using for real.
