Our control knob is spinning round, so unable to make selection...
...please can you tell me how to fit it. Do you need to remove the control panel fascia ? Is this something we can do ourselves without involving an engineer. Thank you.

This knob is held by the three plastic 'barbs' as it contacts the facia. It should be possible to use a blunt knife or flat blade screwdriver to carefully prise it off the facia. then if damaged you can replace as required.
