Is the 32mm diameter the inside or outside measurement, please?

- Hello, Surely , the internal diameter is smaller than the outside (external) diameter ? They cannot both be 35mm. The original question remains unanswered. Is 32mm the internal diameter of the hose or the external ? Or can we take it that the external diameter is 35mm and the internal 32mm ? Or , have I misunderstood completely ? ; It wouldn't be the first time ! Thanks.

The outside diameter is 35 mm where it pushes into the fitting and the internal diameter is 35 mm where it pushes over a fitting.
