When I turn on the light switch on my Curry's Essential Cooker Hood (C60SHDX10) the lights flicker then after several attempts of switching the lights off and back on they will eventually light up. Does this indicate a faulty switch?

It is likely to be the switch but also ensure you have checked the lamp socket in case it is not connecting correctly.
