Hi I’m getting a vibrating noise coming from my motor, Iv took the motor out to look at and the spindle rotates round as normal but the spindle moved freely in and out. Is this why I get the vibrating noise? The fan blades are good and fit securely

It is likely the bearing inside the motor has become noisy and it would need to be replaced.
