how can i tell if its the motor that has gone on my Ignis dish washer, the pump still works as does the first programme
Ignis dishwasher will nor go through the programme cycle it will fill up and drain but will not go through to full programme, element ia also working

It is common for the first cycle on a dish washer programme to be a cold rinse and if the appliance complete's this correctly it suggests a heat related problem. This could be the thermostat heater,sensor or even a control board problem.
