I want to replace a damaged 3 sided seal on the top oven of my Hotpoint 6192P.
All replacements appear to have 90 degree corners that require cutting. Existing seal has rounded corners with buried attachments for the corner holes. Can the 90 degree mitred corner versions be used as safe replacements? .

The correct seal is Stock Number: ES491131 and seal kits that are cut to size with sharp corners may not work as well.
