Hi, I think I need a new tacho or motor for my washer.
I have a Hotpoint wd440g with serial number WD440G702060063. The error code list lists the fault as a motor/tacho error. I have examined the motor which looks and feels fine. the brushes are in good order, however there are two red wires that look like they have detached from the tacho element at the back of the motor, is it possible to get a new tacho for this model or is it going to mean a whole new motor?
