The hose has split just before the cuff. Can I just unscrew the old cuff, trim the hose then screw the cuff back on or is it bonded to the hose?

- Hose to cuff is a push fit (not screw fit) so if you are cutting the hose you will be removing the old cuff at same time. Assembly of the new one is obvious - mount parts 1 and 2 on the hose then push on part 3 until the lugs on part 2 engage.
