Thermostat riveted on?
I checked inside the main oven and the only visible tube at the top back of the oven disappears out the LHS of the oven. The other end is flattened, bent and then appears to be riveted to the back of the oven. This is nothing like the one shown in the video. The suggested replacement doesn't look like this either. There are no clips to be seen. How do you replace this kind?

- What you see riveted to the casing is a shell. The probe is inside this and will pull out from the rear without disturbing the fixed element. There may be a small clip at the end securing the probe inside the tube.

Most thermostat phials on ovens are held by spring steel clips and these clips are often riveted to the oven cavity. Try prising the phial out as although tight it will have either got to come off or be drilled out to remove it.
