Dishwasher flashing two green lights. Do we need to change heating element and is there anything else we need to replace also for this problem as the water is overheating. Dishwasher has an earthy smell about it.

    Hi there. With regard to the flashing lights, I can't tell you exactly what the problem is without knowing which lights are flashing. However, if the water is overheating, it sounds like a problem with most likely the thermostat. If it's not the 'stat causing the problem, it'll be the element or the PCB itself. To diagnose part is to blame, test each with a multimeter.
