The oven main fuse has blown on three occasions now for no apparent reason. I've noticed that when the grill element is turned on the oven element also comes on is this normal or a possible fault

On convection setting it is normal for a grill and a lower oven element to heat. On a fan setting it normally will only use a fan element.
