How the hell do I fit this thing? It is the same size as the original which has snapped, but the new one seems to be too wide for the job. Any help please?

To fit this support it may be necessary to warm the plastic in hot water to allow it to flex enough to bend and allow both ends to locate. Failing this one of the end supports will need to be removed from the cavity lining.
