Have noticed the wires to the thermal cut out are blackened and if I put both ovens and the grill on the fuse to the plug blows . Could these be related ?

The wires being black is an indication it has got extra hot at that point and would need to be replaced if it is damaged, the fuse blowing would normally be one of the elements causing it and they would need to be tested to determine which one has failed.
