      I have a Hoover VHC681B tumble dryer and it will not start. The start/pause light flashes, but the machine will not run

      I replaced the heat element with a spare from eSpares at the end of October 2015 and gave the machine a good clean. The machine worked great until now...

        If when freshly plugged in the light changes when you first press the button then the control panel recognises the press. If this is the case check the door lock.
