How can I have made a mistake on this simple (ha, thanks Neff) job?
I replaced this motor as supplied by you and according to instructions. It works! But only when the door is open!

It sounds like you have a fault with the door switches and this should not have been effected by work done on the motor unless you have disturbed the door position. We do not like to give microwave advise as the extra high voltage inside the cabinet can easily prove lethal if contacted accidently. As your appliance may be difficult to diagnose and because of this danged we strongly advise you to have it repaired professionally.
