1 Question and 1 Answer

I already purchased product code DST1247823006 knob cover + DST 1247821018. I checked with you before i purchased them and you told me they would fit my machine . Well they sort of did after modification . the problem was the timer knob rear was shorter than the original , which meant that when I went to put the cover on, it was also actually deeper that the original as well and it would not go on as it was touching the internal face of the dial . So to get around this i had to cut approx 5 mm of the back edge of the knob then it fitted. But when i tried to push and turn the knob it striped nearly al the teeth of the back of the rear knob. So i removed it to see if i could see what was causing the problem , I discovered that all but 1 tooth was left on the cam .(so instead of turning with 10 teeth gripping there was only 1 hence the stripping of the rest on the knob rear) So to keep the wife happy i have put it back together with the new knob ,luckily part of the new knob rear has a part of it that is about 3 teeth wide that did break off and it is holding at the moment but i don`t know for how long. So i hope all the parts listed above are the FL 1016 or there could be a divorce if there is no washing machine fixed.
