Dco7 allergy model. I've seen the fitting video for the Hepa filter but there is no mention of the seal.

The seals fit between the motor body and the hepa filter that is fitted after the motor underneath the dust canister.
the seal is in 2 parts why...do you need to glue in place to hold down otherwise it could move...and i small gap where it joins. 1 Answer

We believe these seals are fitted with a adhesive tape that holds them in position in the same was as the foam backed draught excluder for doors. You just remove the backing tape to expose the adhesive coating prior to fixing in position.
we need a new hepa post motor filter and wondered whether we needed to get this seal too ??? 1 Answer

Hi Octimolly You will only need this seal if the original one has been damaged or is unusable. Otherwise your existing seal is fine.
