The fan oven knob on my cannon range cooker has sheared off. I need to order this knob but how do I fix it as the rod is still in the hole so it won't just push on? 1 Answer

The rod that attaches this knob to the oven has snapped do I need to buy the rod as well as the knob, if so, where will I find this 1 Answer

The 'rod' you refer to is part of the control underneath and not available separately. If this is a fan oven there may be a switch before the thermostat and it is likely to be the switch shaft broken. Call us with the make and model number on 0844 375 3375 if you cannot identify the part required.
The rod snapped and it seems to go into an electrical fitting that is screwed on behind the knob by two screws. Not sure if I need the complete unit behind that has all the electrical bits too. I have a cannon traditional 1000 10456g serial 3910011. And it's the left hand fan oven knob.
