Grass Trimmer Spool & Line With Cover
Is your grass trimmer out of line? Replace your spool and line with this handy dual spool and line kit that saves you the time of fitting the line to the spool yourself. It includes an orange cover and the small plastic ratchet that controls the feed of the line.

- If you mean the ratchet lever inside the cover, yes. I've never seen a "little white plastic bit" inside the spool - it's a one-piece black moulded unit. Go for it!

I received your dual trimmer spool and line with cover yesterday. I put into my strimmer exactly as the video says. The cut of the grass was fantastic but caught my leg a few times as the line was quite long I trimmed this down a couple of times but found that the line was being used quite quickly and I know this shouldn't happen. Can someone suggest what I may have done wrong. I know its threaded ok but at this rate I will be ordering another spool next week. Thankyou

The trimmer line should only extend when you 'ask for it' this is usually by tapping the spool on the ground or pressing a feed button. Check under the spool there should be a lever that locks the spool to prevent unwinding. This may be missing or damaged or just stuck up with grass dust. Clean and replace as required.
Can the spool be seperated from the cover to reline the spool
- Yes it pulls apart quite easily, make sure the cover is upside down when you pull it apart so you dont loose any parts

the ratchet is a small plasitic device that controls the feed of the line. I have lost this item and wonder if this is included in the product. if not any ideas where one can purchase it
- yes it does, you have to but the complete spool + line to get the little black lever.
