I have had 5 sets of control knobs in the warranty period due to the paint and lettering comming off. Are these a new design.? The part number of the hob control knob which is useless is 3491009845. Is the hob part you are selling the same?

Unfortunately it doesn't come with fitting instructions, although there are many DIY guides on the internet with helpful information on what to do.
