Freezer Door Seal

If the door on your freezer is not shutting securely like usual, it could be due to a faulty door seal. A fully working door seal will easily secure the door shut, and will not allow any air to escape from the inside of the appliance.

If you have either of these problems, it sounds like a new door seal could be the answer. This replacement door seal from eSpares could soon get you back to having a secure door again.

Ask a Question

1 Question and 1 Answer

I have replaced the old seal [which is 2 centimeters thick], with a new seal which is only 1 centimeter. My kitchen has built in units. When I put the wooden covering on the fridge door, the door seal does not operate because the casing door cover reaches the cabinet housing before the fridge door seal reaches the actual fridge. The only way I can get a complete seal to the fridge is to have a 2 centimeter thick seal. Can I obtain one from you? the actual length and width is not the problem - just the thickness!

The door seals can 'shrink' when not in place but the one supplied should be correct. temporarily remove the cabinet door and heat the seal with a hair drier. Then Gently stretch the seal before closing the door. The magnets should hold the seal in place whilst the seal cools and takes shape.
