when oven reaches correct temperature it trips the mains rcd, what part do i require, many thanks 1 Answer

It is likely to be the main oven element but you may not be able to confirm without replacing it.
If we use a G clamp on the knob then it will stay alight but we cannot alter the temperature.

The thermocouple is likely to be faulty and be preventing the gas from coming on to full.
