Rolson 800 AMP Jump Leads

Owning and knowing how to use a quality pair of jump cables is a must have for all drivers. With how beneficial a set of jump cables are, however if they used incorrectly they can be dangerous, it has been known for some batteries in the past to explode when being jumped incorrectly. To ensure this does not happen to you Rolson have designed this set of jump leads.

These colour coded 800 AMP heavy duty jump leads. With a lead length of 6 metres, this is the perfect length and is ideal for commercial vehicles. For safety Rolson have ensured that the tough steel clips have been insulated. A benefit of these jump leads is that the multi stranded copper cable will never suffer from excessive voltage drops.

Please note: For safe and optimal performance ensure that you have connected the cables correctly.

• Get the cars as close together as possible but do not allow the cars to touch one another
• Connect one red clamp to the positive (+) battery post of the "dead" battery.
• Connect the other red clamp to the positive (+) post of the good battery.
• Connect one black-end clamp to the negative (-) post of the good battery.
• Carefully connect the other black-end clamp to some large metallic part of your car's engine block. Never connect it to the negative (-) post of the "dead" battery because this causes sparking which could ignite battery gases.
