I didn't understand the answer to this question given in 2011. My oven lights OK but the flame no longer increases to working (set level) after the short delay but remains low.

    We believe this switch powers the ignition module to spark and ignite the gas. If the flame does not 'grow' suspect the thermocouple for not opening the gas valve.
