Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser Assembly

If you are finding that the detergent is not being dispensed into your dishwasher, as usual, it could be due to a faulty dispenser. Help ensure that your dishes and cutlery continue to come out as clean as possible, by having a fully working dispenser. This replacement from eSpares could be just what you need to get back to a fully working dishwasher again - and back to sparkling dishes!

Specification:

  • Includes: Optical/reed switch rinse aid sensors

Detergent Dispenser fitting tips:

  1. Unplug from mains.
  2. Remove stainless steel cover with a Torx screw driver, leave the two larger screws each side that hold the hinges in place.
  3. There is a cable tidy which is attached to the inside of the dispenser - remove carefully.
  4. Unplug the connectors to the old dispenser then carefully cut the top plastic lugs off the old dispenser and it will come away easily. Beware the stainless steel edges are sharp. Wear gloves.
  5. Replacement is a reversal of the removal. Press the new dispenser in firmly as it must 'click' into place to be secured by the stainless steel lugs.

As per the other question on this page and your advise I've removed the upper tray and popped it on a short wash. I listened for the solenoid but didn't hear anything within the first few minutes. The wash continued and the drawer was still closed. What are the next steps, I see that the controller is discontinued?

If the solenoid is not working then test it with a multimeter but it is likely to be the board if it is not supplying the valve.

This is a replacement for part Stock Number: ES760356 as the original is discontinued and the replacement will work. If the machine does not 'buzz' to dispense the problem may be the control board.

Check the connectors from the dispenser have continuity to the circuit board (Low resistance). If this is correct it would suggest a control board problem.

We believe the part is likely to fit as there are around 9000 models listed and this is a Bosch part.

Unlike conditioner in a washing machine rinse aid does not change the smell of the load. to avoid smells ensure to rinse all food particles of the plates if not washing immediately. Also try our machine cleaner (see our video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifWK9df1qgg )
