We do not advise on microwave repairs as accidental contact with the high voltages generated can easily be fatal, when removing the casing the capacitor has to be discharged for safety before carrying out any repair. We recommend that you do not remove the case unless you have been trained and qualified to work on microwaves.

To replace parts in most microwaves you would have to remove the cabinet, this could allow you to accidentally come into contact with the high voltage that is used to power the microwave. This could easily prove to be fatal and for this reason eSpares recommend that you do not remove the case unless you have been trained to work on microwaves.
