Hob Energy Regulator
The temperature of the burner (or ring) on the hob of an electric stove or cooker is controlled by the energy regulator, which acts as an "infinite switch". If you are finding that the temperature is not being regulated correctly during cooking, it could be a faulty energy regulator that needs to be replaced.
eSpares has this replacement energy regulator that could soon solve your problem, and see you back to being able to create your tasty meals at dinner time again!

I have a BELLING Belling 444445548 cooker, None, repeat none of the hot plates cycle as though through an engergy regulator they are ALL either on or off. My question is, Is there one regulator that governs them all?. 1 Answer

Chris at eSpares says...
No they are all individuals but must have a low current neutral to heat their own bimetal element to regulate so look for a 'missing' neutral connection to them.
Belling double oven model 444445035 regulators loose (knobs wobble) how do you remove cover so being able to tighten regulators
-
Chris at eSpares says...
If the level of 'wobble' is similar on most of the controls it is not likely that they have come loose. Take off the knob and you can usually pass a thin bladed screwdriver ai through the facia hole to reach the two mounting screws and tighten if required. We are sorry but do not have access to the exploded diagrams to give more specific help.
