What You Will Need:
Step 1 - Switch Off Your Appliance
Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.
Step 2 - Gain Access To The Sensor
The sensor is located at the front of the machine under the filter. To access this, simply open up the condenser door and undo the two screws, you can then remove the grill you will then have the sensor in view.
Step 3 - Disconnect The Electrical Connection
To disconnect the electrical connection, you need to use a screwdriver and then also a pair of pliers to ease the sensor out.
Step 4 - Test The Sensors With A Multimeter
Using a multimeter you need to measure the new sensor - and the reading should be around 12,000 ohms. When we take a reading of the old sensor that has just been removed, you can see that there is no reading there.
Please Note: It's worth pointing out that the reading on the multimeter will vary depending on room temperature.

Step 5 - Fit The New Sensor
Proceed to put the new sensor in position, and then reconnect the electrical connection. Following this you then need fit the grid and screws back in position.
