We do not have a resistance value but this is likely to be less than 150 ohms.
I have a hotpoint aquarius fdf784g.r which no longer recirculates water. On removing the pump and splitting the motor away from the heater assembly I then extracted the impeller to find that the cylindrical magnet behind the impeller has 3 cracks along its length. Before I commit to a new dishwasher pump I would like to know if this is the likely cause of my problem.

Cannot say 100% but i would have thought this is the likely case.
I have the dishwasher on it's side, the maintenance panel removed and can see the recirculation pump. It looks like it just unscrews from the canister, but it won't budge. Am I doing something wrong or should I be more forceful? Cheers.
- Disconnect the hoses and electical connections this will then allow to you fully remove the pump from the machine. The canistor section - the section that has the inlet and outlet pipes just twists off
