- Mine had a faulty contact at the back of the regulator/switch on the dual grill function ES1129190. The contact had arced and welded closed (fan on).

The cooling fan is controlled by a cut in thermostat Stock Number: ES663793. This should measure open circuit when cool and short circuit when hot turning the fan on.
main The double grill does not work however the element still gets hot if top oven switch chosen. The indicator for the grill also does not come on when switch operated (grill) is this the grill switch at fault. 1 Answer

It is likely to be the switch, you will need to confirm by testing the switch with a multimeter.
Hotpoint double oven model no DH93CK, grill fan working but grill not working. Neither pilot light or light inside over coming on. Oven seems to be working ok. Could you tell me what the problem could be 1 Answer

Check the door switch on the right of the cavity before suspecting this control.
Switch on grill - no heat but fan works (both half and full setting). Grill on indicator light not on. Switch on top oven. This works using bottom and grill element - so grill element good. With top oven on, switch on grill and grill indicator light on. Suspect regulator. Thoughts?
