    The usual cause of overheating in a condenser dryer is restricted air flow from a partial blocked condenser. Make sure all airways,filters and condenser are clear and if the problem continues the fault could be the heater thermostats fitted on this heater.

    A 'cold' resistance of 85 ohms if fed by 230volts would only produce a little over 600 watts heat. The total resistance of the heater elements in parallel is likely to be below 27 ohms. This suggests a faulty element.
