My tumble dryer won’t turn on. Research suggests it’s a thermal fuse but I can’t find one for this model. Is it built into the heater on this model? 1 Answer

The usual cause of overheating in a condenser dryer is restricted air flow from a partial blocked condenser. Make sure all airways, filters and condenser are clear and if the problem continues the fault could be the heater thermostats fitted on this heater.
My dryer is only half hot. Ive done ohm meter test and it reads 85. Is this out of tolerance? Thanks John 1 Answer

A 'cold' resistance of 85 ohms if fed by 230volts would only produce a little over 600 watts heat. The total resistance of the heater elements in parallel is likely to be below 27 ohms. This suggests a faulty element.
