Sorry, but we have not been provided with this information from the manufacturer. The parts listed on our website are all model and serial number dependant (apart from universal parts). In order for us to locate the correct spares for your appliance we would need the model information. Without this we cannot guarantee that the part ordered will be the correct one for your appliance. It is likely the valve is letting in water but check the plumbing in case the machine is backfilling into the washer.
machine gave an F21 fault shortly after a power cut, have cleared the fault but machine still won't operate. 1 Answer
I have checked the brushes on the motor and while they are down to the last 10mm they still run the machine on a spin cycle. I then tried another cycle and this time the machine showed an F17 fault which is the solenoid valve This is where I believe the real problem lies. Can you confirm if this makes sense and should I replace the solenoid valve

F17 occurs if the machine has not filled to the correct level in the allowed time. If it is filling at all check the water is on full. If it does not fill see our advice centre for more information.
My Bosch W/machine will not move from the wash cycle to the rinse cycle but if I add a kettle of hot water it completes the cycle. The heating element and thermostat seem to be OK though ( as checked by eSpares) Do you think it could be the solenoid 1 Answer

If it has filled with water at the start of the wash cycle it would suggest the valve is ok, meter the element and thermostat to confirm they are ok. Check out our advice centre for more help copy and paste into your browser http://www.espares.co.uk/advice
