The control flap is operated by a thermo mechanical device and requires only temperature change and no electricity to operate. If when examined the flap is in the open position the cold air should be allowed into the fridge, see our video: How to Diagnose a Fault With a Frost Free Fridge Freezer http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/2/2113

I am struggling to find the correct, regulator/thermostat for my bosch fridge freezer. It looks similar but mine has (Multiair) printed on it in large letters. If this is not for my appliance can you please help?

This is the insulated panel behind your 'multiair' panel and has the thermally operated regulating flap to control your fridge. However your problem may be due to over icing in the freezer so view the following video first: How to diagnose a fault with a frost free fridge freezer http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/2/2113
