Most websites show pins being drilled out as hole on drum needs to be enlarged to take new pins

You need to check if these are suitable for your model as they can be fitted differently, these are usually removed with a pair of pliers and you may be able to use the old pins.
I see this comes with plastic pegs to replace the pegs that are part of the washing machine tub. It is not clear what tool is required to remove the old pegs from the tub in order to fit the new pegs. What is the fitting procedure for this shock absorber kit? If it is an obscure size of drill bit (for instance) this should be clearly stated in the description of this product.

The easiest thing to use when removing the pegs is a pair of plies.
